About the product
The California Mastitis Test (CMT) Paddle is an indispensable cow-side diagnostic tool engineered for rapid, early detection of subclinical mastitis in dairy herds. Molded from durable, chemical-resistant white plastic, it features four separate shallow cups marked to correspond with the four individual quarters of a cow’s udder (A, B, C, D). By mixing fresh fore-milk samples with CMT test reagent directly in the cups and swirling, farmers and veterinarians can immediately spot gel formation or viscosity changes—identifying elevated Somatic Cell Counts (SCC) long before physical symptoms appear.
